Delegates

Registration for participating as a delegate is free of charge but is binding. We highly recommend that you take full notice of the cancellation rules.

Registration for delegates includes conference proceedings, access to all plenary sessions of the conference, lunch and coffee on 1 and 2 December 2022 as well as conference dinner on 1 December according to the conference program.

Registration closes on 22 November 2022.

 

Exhibitors

The exhibitor registration fee of 25 000 SEK excl. VAT  includes name and logotype on the conference website and programme book, one (1) booth space of 2 x 2,5 m in the exhibition area (with 1 table and access to electricity) as well as access to the conference including lunches and refreshments according to the conference program for two (2) representatives. The conference dinner is not included in the exhibitor registration fee and costs 800 SEK excl. VAT per person.

The link to register the two free exhibitor representatives will be sent after the completed exhibitor registration.

 

 

Swedish delegates

Swedish delegates can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice.
Invoices to Swedish organizations will be sent as an electronic invoice (e-faktura) if possible.

Delegates from outside Sweden

All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona).
Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer (invoice).

Invoice

When choosing ‘International bank transfer’ in the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc). The invoice is created manually, and will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, usually a few days after registration. The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.

Information about payment with credit card

We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.

For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected to one of these advanced security payment programs, and if not already, how it can be connected.

Cancellation of Registration
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the conference secretariat.

Cancellation of registration will be accepted until 11 November 2022, up to which date a cancellation fee of 750 SEK will be invoiced.

We also regret that a fee of 750 SEK will be invoiced for no-shows for any reason.

Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible.

Cancellation rules for exhibitors

Cancellation 
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the conference secretariat.

Cancellation for exhibition will be accepted until 1 November 2022 up to which date 30% of the total amount of the exhibition fee will be refunded. We regret that no refunds will be made for cancellations received after 1 November 2022.

According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all cancellation and no show fees.
This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.

Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.

Academic Conferences, in-house Professional Congress Organizer of Karolinska Institutet, is the administration office of Barntumörbanken Symposium 2022. We administer conferences and other events. In order to do this, we must collect and process personal data. The purpose of our privacy policy is to explain the data we collect and how we use it, as well as your rights as a data subject.
