Abstracts

The Swedish Childhood Tumor Biobank invites you to submit abstracts to be considered for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts should report research investigations or clinical cases that contribute to education, research, and/or clinical practice.

The abstract will be judged by the organizing scientific committee and some abstracts will then be selected for a 10-minutes oral presentation each, within the plenary session.

The presenting authors of accepted abstracts for poster sessions will participate in the “Best Poster Award” competition. The presenting author of an submitted abstract must register for the symposium by 21 November 2022.

Abstract guidelines

Important dates: The abstract submission opens on 5 September 2022 and closes on 14 November 2022. Notification of acceptance of poster/oral presentation will be sent latest on 21 November 2022.

Title of presentation: Please choose a brief title (maximum 150 characters) that clearly indicates the content of the contribution. Spell out words, do not use abbreviations.

Authors and co-authors details: Full first and family name(s), city, state (if relevant), country and email address. Do not include degrees or titles. Presenting authors’ name will be published in bold.

Affiliations: Each author should be listed by University/Hospital or company, department and country.

Abstract: The abstract must be in English and should be a maximum of 350 words, excluding the title. Please use the following structure:

  • Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion/Conclusions.

Key-words: Please indicate 3 keywords for your abstract.

Category: You will need to submit your abstract in one of the category below

Presentation type: Please indicate the preferred presentation type of either Oral or Poster. Note: If an abstract is submitted as an oral presentation, it may be accepted by the committee as a poster instead.

Poster size: If your abstract is accepted by the committee as a poster, please design and print your poster in portrait format. The dimension of the poster boards is 80 cm wide and 180 cm high (80 x 180 cm).
